I wish I may, I wish I might

I realize there was a post slightly similar to this earlier, but this examines a different aspect of wishing.

Imagine: A genie has just given you one wish. Nothing is beyond this genie's power. What would you wish for? Think carefully about your wish. Unintended consequences may result, even if your intentions are well-meant.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! As for the question you've posed...it's a toughie. Despite Ray Bradbury's warning, I think I'd wish for a quick glimpse of a high school classroom twenty years in the future. I would not want to see myself nor anyone else I know--only the material studied and the methods of studying it.

What an interesting wish! Think of the possibilities--what if the classroom you see is in a bedroom? Online classes are becoming more popular--maybe one day everyone will take classes at home. Or maybe there will be no textbooks--just online e-books. Technology has literally presented an entirely new world.
